I HAVE BEEN A SINGLE MOTHER FOR 31 YEARS. AT FIRST I WASNT SURE HOW LIFE WOULD PLAY OUT. I WORKED THREE JOBS AND WENT TO COLLEGE TO GET MY DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. I PROMISED MYSELF THAT THE HOMES I BOUGHT WOULD BE AS PERFECT AS I COULD MAKE THEM SO MY SON WOULD HAVE GREAT MEMORIES GROWING UP. I ACHIEVED THAT AS WELL, WITH NO CHILDSUPPORT. NO HELP WITH SCHOOL BRACES,CLOTHES CARS, INSURANCE ETC. ME AND ONLY ME. MY SON TO THIS DAY IS MY BEST FRIEND. WE STILL CALL EACH OTHER TO TALK OVER DECISIONS BEFORE WE COMMIT. HE IS VERY WISE, INDEPENDENT ,SUCCESSFUL,LOVING AND THE MOST AMAZING MAN IVE EVER KNOWN. I ASKED HIM HOW HE BECAME SO WISE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE OF LIFE AND FR MAKING ALL THE RIGHT DECISIONS…..HE TOLD ME …BECAUSE OF YOU,MOM. YOU WERE THE GREATEST TEACHER…OF ALL THE ASPECTS OF LIFE FOR ME TO BE THE GREAT PERSON THAT I AM TODAY AS WELL AS BEING SO SUCCESSFUL. YOU NEVER GAVE UP. YOU SET GOALS AND STRIVED TO MEET THEM. YOU NEVER LET ANYONE IR ANYTHING GET IN THE WAY OF YOUR DREAMS FOR US. I AM THE MOST FULLFILLED MOTHER IN THE WORLD. IM SO PROUD OF MY ONLY SON. I WAITED FOREVER TO HAVE HIM WHEN HIS BIOLOGICAL FATHER SAID NO TO CHILDREN AND WE PARTED SO I COULD DO THE ONLY TRUE JOB THAT I EVER WANTED TO DO…BE A LOVING MOTHER. THE DAY MY SON WAS BORN I REACHRD FOR HIS HAND AND SAID…WE WILL HAVE EACH OTHER FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES ITS YOU AND ME….AND THATS HOW ITS BEEN FOR THESE 31 YEARS. MY TRUE BLESSING…MY SON NICKOLAS
